CRM as a Service

One of Grownue’s flagship offerings (and our personal favorite) is CRM as a Service (CRMaaS). This is our “hero” service because it encapsulates everything we do into an ongoing, worry-free package for you. Think of CRM as a Service as an alternative to hiring a full-time CRM manager or administrator in-house. Instead of you doing all the heavy lifting (or hiring someone who might not have broad expertise in all CRM areas), Grownue becomes your outsourced CRM team on a monthly basis.

What does CRM as a Service include?
In short: everything an internal CRM administrator or team would handle, and more. We partner closely with your company month after month, managing and evolving your CRM so you can focus on your business. Here’s what you can expect

Ongoing CRM Administration

We take care of the day-to-day admin tasks in your CRM. Adding new users, updating picklists or dropdown values, tweaking page layouts, setting up new reports or dashboards as needed – all the routine but essential maintenance is handled for you. No need to train someone on your team to do these technical tasks; our experts will do it correctly and efficiently every time.

Expertise on Demand

With CRMaaS, you aren’t hiring a single person – you’re gaining access to our whole team’s expertise. That includes CRM consultants, business analysts, integration specialists, and developers. It’s like having a full CRM department at your service, but without the overhead. This is crucial because CRM needs can range from strategic (e.g., “How should we adjust our process to improve conversion?”) to highly technical (“Can we integrate CRM with this custom software via API?”). A single in-house hire might not cover all those skills, but Grownue’s team does. We bring expert domain knowledge of best practices as well as deep tool knowledge of the CRM platforms and integrations. And we’re always updating our skills with certifications and training (since we’re partners with the CRM vendors, we stay current on new features).

Proactive Enhancements

We don’t just wait for you to tell us what you need – we proactively suggest enhancements. Each month, or at a regular interval, we might propose new automations, plugins, or process changes that could benefit you. For example, we might notice that a lot of leads stall in a certain stage and suggest an automated email nurture for them. Or we see that your team isn’t using a feature that could save time, so we provide a demo and enable it. Essentially, we become your strategic advisor for CRM and sales operations, not just “keeping the lights on.” Our aim is to continuously increase the ROI you get from the CRM. (After all, if you’re investing in our service, we want to make sure the CRM delivers multiples of that in value. As a benchmark, companies on average see about $8.71 in ROI for every $1 spent on CRM, we strive to beat that for our clients.)

No Headache of Hiring/Turnover

When you go with CRM as a Service, you sidestep the challenges of hiring a full-time CRM admin or specialist. There’s no recruitment cost or delay, no worry about an employee learning on the job, and no risk of them leaving after training. We’re a stable partner – and if one of our team members transitions, we handle backfilling and knowledge transfer internally, so you always have continuity. You also avoid costs like benefits, training, and downtime. In fact, our service is typically half to one-third of the cost of hiring an equivalent full-time resource (especially when you factor in that our entire team’s knowledge is at your disposal). And since we work in a team-based way, there’s effectively no downtime – you won’t be left high and dry because your CRM person is on vacation or sick leave. We ensure coverage at all times. As a fellow CRM consultancy put it, our “administrators are fractional and more affordable than a full-time resource  meaning you get the benefit of a dedicated expert without bearing the full burden of a salary.

Scalable Engagement

We adapt to your needs each month. Early on, you might need more hands-on help (say, implementing new features or heavy training). Over time, as things stabilize, the tasks might shift to more monitoring and incremental improvements. We scale our effort accordingly while always keeping a consistent presence. If suddenly you have a new project (like integrating a new software, or a business process change), we have the bandwidth to ramp up and assist quickly, whereas an internal hire might be swamped.

In essence, CRM as a Service = Peace of Mind. It’s knowing that experts are continuously tending to your CRM garden, keeping it healthy and growing. You get to enjoy the fruits – better customer relationships, efficient processes, and insightful data – without the hard labor or worry about the technical details. Many of our clients choose CRMaaS after going through an implementation with us; they realize the value of having ongoing guidance and don’t want to go it alone. It’s our most popular offering because it turns the CRM into a living, breathing part of your business with minimal effort on your part. We essentially become an extension of your team – as invested in your success as you are.
